Priest In Charge - The Rev. Christopher Klukas
Fr. Chris received his call to the priesthood while on his own Happening in the spring of 1997. He grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where he attended both Grace Church, Mt. Washington and St. David's in Venetia. He went to College at Wittenberg University where he received a BA in English with minors in religion and art. While in college, Chris usually spent his summers ministring back in Pittsburgh at both Fox Chapel Episcopal Church and also at St. Martin's. After college, he began seminary at Gordon-Conwell on the North Shore of Boston. After a year, he transferred to Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin so that he could be closer to the woman who would become his wife! Chris graduated in May of 2006, was ordained to the diaconate in June, and ordained to the Priesthood in January 2007. He is married to the Rev. Carrie Klukas and they currently live in an old farmhouse in Pitcarin with their son Kieran and their two dogs.

Assistant Priest in Charge - The Rev. Jack Gabig, Ph. D.
Fr. Jack has been involved in children, young adult ministries in the U.S. and U.K. for 23 years. He is a graduate of Trinity School for Ministry in Pittsburgh (M.Div. 1995), and completed his Ph.D. research at King's College, London in Spring 2007, looking at the role of popular culture in the religious lives of American teenagers. He is currently the Director of Children and Youth Initiative with the Anglican Communion Network, encouraging a rethinking of the nature of Christian Education in Anglican churches in America. Additionally, he is an adjunct faculty member of both Trinity and Nashotah House Anglican Seminaries. Jack and his wife Patty live in Pittsburgh with their cat, Judy.

Happening Director - Tom Hillman
Tom has been involved with Happening since 1998, when he was invited to serve on the adult staff. As director, his responsibilities include recruiting adult staff, training adult and teen leaders, chairing staff meetings, participating in the weekends, following up with each participant after the Happening weekend, and communicating with host parishes. Tom has been a member of The Church of the Ascension in Oakland for 45 years. He has served two terms on vestry, sung in the choir, taught Sunday School, and co-led a house group. He currently serves in the senior high youth ministry. He lives in Monroeville, PA with his wife and two daughters. Happening Administrator - Cindy Thomas
Cindy has been the Happening Administrator for the past 11 years. Her responsibilities include assisting the Priest In Charge and the Director, bookkeeping, coordinating events, and participating in the Happening Weekends. Cindy has been a member of Grace Anglican Church in Mt. Washington for 30 years. At Grace, she has served as the parish senior warden, vestry member several terms, parish treasurer and a Sunday School teacher. Cindy very involved in Women Alive in Christ, the Women's Ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. She is married, has three children, and would love to speak with you about Happening.
