Statement of Faith

Pittsburgh Happening teaches classical Christianity. We are convinced of the need for faith in the merciful sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our salvation and hold to a biblical pattern for moral decision making. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word written and is completely reliable in communicating God’s purposes for our lives.

Any teenager in the 9th through 12th grades may attend a Happening Weekend regardless of religious affiliation or personal beliefs. You need not be a follower of Jesus Christ to attend one of our weekends. We fully respect other Christian traditions and do not attempt to convert other Christians to our denomination.

Happening is a ministry of the Bishop of The Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh and submits to his spiritual authority and direction.

If you have any questions about the content of our program, please feel free to get in touch with our Director, Tom Hillman, or our Priest in Charge, The Rev. Chris Klukas.  Contact information is found in the "Bios" section of this web site.
